Man stabbed in Central District seriously injures

Seattle police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the Central District on Wednesday.

After 7.30pm, officers responded to a call in the 1400 block of South King Street for a stabbing.

Investigators said a 23-year-old man was walking home when he was stabbed by another man. The victim returned home and a family member called 911.

The man was treated and taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

After the victim gave police a description, officers arrested two potential suspects in the area.

“Officers at the scene have determined that further investigation and review of evidence is necessary to make an arrest for the knife attack,” police said.

Police say two men have been incarcerated in King County Jail on other charges, one for burglary warrant and the other for possession of an illegal weapon.

The case is still ongoing.
