Implement central state schemes in the letter and spirit CS
Itanagar, Apr 2 (PTI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar has asked all department heads to ensure that the budget announcements made by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein are implemented in letter and spirit.
The leadership of the Chief Secretary spoke at a meeting held here on Friday as part of the annual action plan of central and state government sponsored programs and budget announcements for 2022-23.
Addressing Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, Directors, Deputy Commissioners and other senior officers, Kumar asked all to take serious note of the policy documents, an official statement said here.
“It is the responsibility of the relevant department to ensure that the policy documents of the budget announcement and programs sponsored by the central government and the state see the light of day without delay,” he said.
Adding that each budget announcement will receive a proportional allocation, Kumar asked the departments to set deadlines to achieve the corresponding targets.
“The government will take this seriously if the targets are not met within the proposed timeframe,” he said.
Considering that the year 2022 has been declared as the “year of e-governance”, the Chief Secretary, while reviewing the e-governance projects under the Department of Information and Communication Technology, said that “all files between the directorates and the secretariat must go through e-office from 1 May.
Likewise, by June 1, electronic office cells should be developed in the offices of all deputy commissioners and all user certificates should be posted there, he said.
The General Secretary also asked the officers concerned to ensure that VSAT/OFC connections to schools, police stations and all circle headquarters are established at the earliest. UPL PTI
